Ludvík Píza je režisér, lektor a tvůrce v oblasti autorského divadla. Ve své tvůrčí praxi se dlouhodobě zaměřuje na dramaturgii veřejného prostoru a formáty tzv. neinstitucionalizovaného divadla. Vytváří auditivní, inscenované a senzorické procházky, situace a podmínky pro zúčastněnou observaci a projekty, které zvou diváctvo k přímé spolupráci. Ve svých projektech klade důraz na přípravu, porozumění kontextu a zodpovědnou práci s materiálem, přičemž materiál chápe v nejširším možném významu (lidské i mimolidské objekty, vlastnosti prostoru, vztahy odehrávající se na určitém místě a v konkrétním čase). Je absolventem oboru režie v magisterském programu na Katedře alternativního a loutkového divadla DAMU a bakalářského programu na Katedře teorie a kritiky tamtéž.

Spolupracoval s Galerií hlavního města Prahy, HYB4 Galerií, divadelním spolkem Pomezí, kulturním centrem Vzlet, divadlem DISK aj. Své projekty prezentoval na Festivalu Regiony v Hradci Králové, mezinárodním Bazaar Festivalu v Praze či na festivalu Boskovice.

Jako lektor a pedagog se zaměřuje na dramaturgii nových participativních divadelních forem, umělecký dialog s veřejným prostorem a popularizaci současného divadla. V letech 2023–2026 působil jako umělecký výzkumník v mezinárodním projektu UNLOCK THE CITY! Je spoluautorem publikace Jak na veřejný prostor, jež nabízí metodické postupy, jak veřejný prostor číst, zkoumat a interpretovat v jeho sociálních, kulturních a prostorových souvislostech.

Ludvík Píza is a director, educator, and theatre maker in the field of authorial theatre. In his creative practice, he focuses on dramaturgy in public space and formats of so-called non-institutional theatre. He creates audio, staged, and sensory walks, situations and conditions for participatory observation, and projects that invite audiences to engage in direct participation. In his projects, he emphasizes research, understanding of context, and responsible work with material, using the term “material” in its broadest possible sense (human and non-human objects, the features of space, and relationships unfolding in a specific place and at a specific time). He holds a master’s degree in directing from the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre at DAMU and a bachelor’s degree from the Department of Theory and Criticism at the same institution.

He has collaborated with the Prague City Gallery, HYB4 Gallery, the Pomezí theatre collective, the Vzlet cultural center, and others. He has presented his projects at the Regions Festival in Hradec Králové, the international Bazaar Festival in Prague, and the Boskovice Festival.

As a lecturer and educator, he focuses on the dramaturgy of new participatory theatre formats, creative dialogue with public space, and the popularization of contemporary theatre. From 2023 to 2026, he served as an artistic researcher on the international project UNLOCK THE CITY! He is the co-author of the publication How to Public Space, which offers methodological approaches for reading, exploring, and interpreting public space within its social, cultural, and spatial contexts.
