Get off with us at the Vyšehrad stop and tune in to the flow of rhythms, times and meanings. Slow down and listen to the stories of the local tracks, walls and those we don’t normally perceive. A staged walk with headphones and three performers along the layers of one of Prague’s oldest metro stations.
Is the metro today just an echo of a socialist utopia or a functional space for contemporary needs? To what extent are we influenced by what was decided long before us? And what will we leave behind?
It’s time to leave the presence. The place we are about to go is beyond the reach of your memory. The memory of the land you are walking on runs deep. To get to the other side, we must follow the layers of the terrain. But watch out! We can only descend one at a time. Line up behind you and slowly make your way down the underpass.
