Tomorrow I’ll Dress Myself Up in the Forest and Disappear is a contemplative audiowalk for one participant, created specifically for the space of the Boskovice Jewish cemetery and its surroundings. The creators draw on the tension between the cemetery as a place of eternal rest and the life that constantly takes place there, transforming the space according to its own laws.
Take a journey along the chateau grounds, beyond, to that remote place where one enters with caution. Find out what goes on behind the walls when the living are asleep? Where will the paths trodden by the forest animals lead you? And why are the alleys between the cemetery stones so narrow, as if they expect no visitor? Take a breath here, in this seemingly lonely place. You may never want to go back to where you came from.
‚‚And then, suddenly, unprepared, you see a doe disappear through the ruined cemetery wall. You’re picking your way through the grassland that reaches up to your chest, there, beyond the wall. To hide in a forest thicket where half a century ago there was nothing but a bare plain. To leave a trail for those who come after you.‘‘
